The Service Center plays a strategic role in increasing Baosteel’s competitiveness on the Italian market. Through the joint venture with Siderurgica Modenese, a broad range of products for end users can been imported for subsequent processing. Narrow strips, sheets and blanks are all cut to length according to the customer’s needs and specifications, and always produced to the highest product and service quality standards.

The Service Center is fully fitted out with all the necessary equipment, including flattening machines, slitters, strip cutters and the relative packaging lines. The facility occupies an area of 24,000 sq m, of which 14,000 under cover, and is situated in a highly strategic geographical location to supply the automotive supply chain throughout Italy. This puts the company in an excellent position to offer support across the entire supply chain, which delivers its products not only to Italy, but also to the European market as a whole.

New types of product are also available, including for the household appliance, food packaging, transformer and electric motor markets.
